finally new komixo is ready... current version is 0.11. since last release many things has changed. i will try do describe most important changes. but, for complete set of changes please read changelog, there are plenty of them now maker looks and works much better. maciej designed nice looking, complete flex skin. to make it even more beautiful, we have used a new set of icons - fuge icons.
we've been also working on adding new objects and plugins to komixo. but finally we've realized that most important thing to be done here, is to simplify the way the 'speech clouds' are created. now with new simplified 'speech clouds' make creating comic strips even easier.
what else... current version introduces also loading images from given urls. for example, click on image below to launch it in komixo maker
we also, have new code signing certificate for desktop version. maker itself should silently migrate to new certificate, so you shouldn't have any problems with this one. this is also a reason of increased size of installer package.
i should also mention, that komixo maker is from now on, ready for localization. currently it is available in polish and english. soon we will launch komixo maker tranalation page, where you will be able to help us translating it to other languages.
for the past 2 months, we have also used komixo engine to build online and desktop versions of szoter.com. this resulted in preparing komixo for rebranding, and now we're also working on using komixo in our new, top secret, project. we have also launched a related project - komixo for facebook - version of komixo maker, to be used as an facebook application.

... it's been some time since last post, but komixo is still alive. since that time, we have used komixo internal engine in our new project - szoter.com. szoter is a web based annotation application. basically speaking, szoter allows you to capture your screen, load image or capture camera snapshot and add different annotations to them. be aware, that szoter uses java to capture screenshots, so it has to be installed and supported by your browser. we will now focus on new komixo release. hyia folks! mateusz had inner driving urge to release another version of komixo maker, so here it is, 0.10 and it is practically bugfix only release. this work has been strongly influenced by ciechan (of which fans we are), so forgive mateusz all the new bugs introduced by fixes of previous ones. welcome to new refreshed komixo website. maciej from yallayalla did pretty good layout, and although it is still work in progress, we couldn't restrain to dress up komixo with this new concept. more is to come soon as maciej is working on komixo maker skin right now and believe me it looks pretty promising. apart from artwork stuff, which (as you can see) made us a little excited, mateusz has pieced together his toys and we have long-awaited komixo v0.9 released at last. zillion of things have been either fixed, added, changed, optimized, removed or altered (see changelogs). enjoy.
